THE PERFECT CACAO

*THE PAN VERSION*


Anyone who knows me knows that I pride myself on making absolutely delicious Cacao and so many of you that I have made it for have asked how to make the perfect Cacao…..so here it is.


WHAT YOU NEED:

  • A pan

  • A whisk

  • Cups

  • 15-20g Cacao (per cup)

  • Plant milk (I use oat)

  • Agave

  • Coconut sugar

  • Himalayan Salt


THE PROCESS:


Measure out your Cacao (I use @fullpowercacao everyday because it has the best flavour and energy I’ve come across), 15-20g is about 1 tablespoon. Add to the pan with a splash of you plant based milk. Heat on a medium heat and whisk until all the cacao has melted into the milks and is a smooth runny paste.


Next add the rest of your plant milk and keep warming and whisking (do not boil though, it just needs to be hot). Add in the agave, a pinch of salt per cup and some coconut sugar to taste.


Once it’s at a nice temperature for drinking, pour into your favourite cup and there you have a warm cup of love to start your day.


You can play around with sweeteners or flavours as much as you want. My favourites include orange, lemon, peppermint or geranium.
